"Berlin pillow" is being tested on one of the streets of the capital of Ukraine

"Berlin cushion" is a new device for reducing the speed of traffic. According to information from the Traffic Management Center, the initiative was implemented on Bazhova Avenue.

The specially created artificial unevenness is intended to reduce the speed of passenger cars, while ensuring that special vehicles and buses with a wider wheelbase can easily pass over it. Motorcyclists and cyclists will also be able to easily bypass this obstacle.

The Center for Traffic Management reports that a decision on the further implementation of "Berlin cushions" on other streets will be made after the experimental period is over and relevant conclusions have been obtained. The success of the experiment may lead to the deployment of similar devices on other city streets.
