New Electronic Queue System for MVS Service Centers: What Will Change for Drivers?
As of February 18, 2025, an updated electronic appointment system (E-queue) has been implemented in 53 MVS service centers across Ukraine. This system is designed to make the registration process for services more convenient and transparent. Citizens can now book an appointment in advance, with slots automatically generated three weeks ahead. Additionally, new dates are added daily, allowing users to plan their visits without long wait times.
What Services Are Available?
With the new electronic appointment system, drivers can access the following services:
-
Taking theoretical and practical driving tests to obtain a driver’s license;
-
Vehicle registration and re-registration;
-
Driver’s license exchange, including international licenses.
Key Rules and Restrictions
To prevent system overload and ensure equal access for all users, certain limitations have been introduced:
-
Individuals can book up to 4 appointments per month;
-
Legal entities can make no more than 4 bookings per day;
-
If a citizen fails to attend four scheduled appointments without canceling in advance, their account will be blocked;
-
Appointment cancellations must be made no later than 2 hours before the scheduled time.
Transition Period and System Features
Until March 11, 2025, citizens can use both the old and new appointment systems, allowing for a gradual adaptation to the changes. After this date, appointments will only be available through the updated system.
It is important to note that in the event of an air raid alert, service will be temporarily suspended. However, once the alert is lifted, service centers will resume operations from the point where they were interrupted, without requiring users to rebook their appointments.
How to Book an Appointment?
To use the service center’s offerings, citizens should:
-
Visit the official MVS service center website.
-
Select the required service and a convenient time.
-
Confirm the appointment and receive confirmation.
With the implementation of the new E-queue system, Ukrainians can better plan their time, while service centers can operate more efficiently without queues and delays. So, book your appointment in advance and take full advantage of digital services!
